I thought that my happiest moment since i've joined Nikon family was when i purchased my 70-200 mm f/2.8 lens for my D700. But i was wrong.

I really cannot describe how much more happy i feel since i received my MAGICA set. From that moment photo shooting has a totally new meaning for me.

In the past, i had tried 3 different tripods and several set-ups but results were disappointing and some times camera directly on my hand was more stable and reliable. Then i decided to forget the tripod issue at all while i had no other time for experiments and money loss.

Then, some weeks ago, a friend of mine who knew my story, strongly recommended and insisted to offer me a try on his new MAGICA which he had recently bought. 5 minutes were more than enough for me to realize that we have something important here.

So, without a second thought i ordered my MAGICA. I experienced an excellent phone support, i got replies in all my questions regarding tech. specifications and anything else you can imagine i had to ask because of my fears, and finally i was amazed when package was out of my door 2 and a half days later.

MAGICA is just a piece of art. Too light to easily carry, to easy to setup and stabilize and the most important: to stable like a rock, giving me the sharpest and clearest shots i ever made.

And i keep as a secret for your surprise the experience you will meet when you realize how is possible to have the same time Markins Ball Head screwed and stable like a truck and be able the same time to pan or tilt the camera without un-screwing the knob.

MAGICA do exactly what it says: MAGIC

I have to share my recent experience trekking the beautiful sites of Kauai with my new M10 ballhead. My setup, similar to many Nikonians by now: Gitzo 1228, TB-20, Markins M10.... All I can say is it was worth every penny, and I'll be happy for a very long time. The M10 was a joy to use I have to admit that for a while I thought the praise for Markins was a bit of a band-wagon effect with Nikonians, but now I'm convinced, converted and very happy. Thanks again to all for your advice!! Kevin, California USA

After using this head for a week in Utah and Arizona, I can say it is well worth the price. It is light weight but sturdy as a rock, and when mounted to a Gitzo Carbon Fiber tripod, it is like carrying nothing. f5fstop, USA
